Special Issue on Heavy Metal Pollution
In general, the heavy metal elements usually exist widely in nature with
natural concentrations. However, due to the increasing mining, smelting,
processing and commercial manufacturing activities of heavy metals, lots of
heavy metals such as Pb, Hg, Cr etc. are discharged into the environment, which
have serious consequences for the health of human beings, and also cause
serious environmental pollution. In recent years, many heavy metals as
environmental pollutants and potentially toxic pollutants have attracted the
great attention of scientists all over the world.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring heavy metal pollution.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Sources of heavy metal pollution
-
Harm of heavy
metal pollution
-
The existing
circumstances of heavy metal pollution
-
Heavy metal pollution treatment technology
-
Heavy metal pollution of soil
-
Heavy metal pollution of water
-
Monitoring and
evaluation of heavy metal pollution
-
Prevention and
control of heavy metal pollution
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Heavy Metal Pollution”
should be chosen during your submission.
