Special Issue on Waste Management & Research  

Waste management is all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes amongst other things collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste together with monitoring and regulation. Waste management normally deals with all types of waste whether it was created in forms that are industrial, biological, household, and special cases where it may pose a threat to human health. It is intended to reduce adverse effects of waste on health, the environment or aesthetics.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Waste Management & Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Treatment by physical, chemical and biological methods
• Economic and environmental assessments
• Life cycle assessment 
• Resource efficiency
• Disposal methods
• Waste re-use
• Policy and regulations

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Waste Management & Research” should be chosen during your submission.
