Special Issue on Sequence Analysis in Molecular Biology

In bioinformatics, sequence analysis is the process of subjecting a DNA, RNA or peptide sequence to any of a wide range of analytical methods to understand its features, function, structure, or evolution. Methodologies used include sequence alignment, searches against biological databases, and others.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring sequence analysis in molecular biology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • DNA sequence analysis
    • RNA sequence analysis
    • Protein sequence analysis
    • Molecular biology databases
    • Analysis tools
    • Sequence similarities, homologies, and alignments
    • Gene prediction
    • Protein structure prediction

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Sequence Analysis in Molecular Biology” should be selected during your submission.

    Special Issue timetable:

    Submission Deadline
