Special Issue on Cell and Tissue Regeneration

In biology, regeneration is the process of renewal, restoration, and growth that makes genomes, cells, organisms, and ecosystems resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage. Every species is capable of regeneration, from bacteria to humans. Regeneration can either be completewhere the new tissue is the same as the lost tissue, or incomplete where after the necrotic tissue comes fibrosis. At its most elementary level, regeneration is mediated by the molecular processes of gene regulation.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on cell and tissue regeneration. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Stem cell and tissue regeneration
    • Gene regulation and regeneration
    • Biological properties and process
    • Development and regeneration
    • Regeneration and genetic transformation
    • Bone regeneration
    • Periodontal regeneration
    • Organ regeneration
    • Wound repair and regeneration
    • Disease retreatment and regeneration
    • Liver regeneration in rats

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Cell and Tissue Regeneration should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:
