    Special Issue on Embedded Systems

An embedded system is a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing constraints. It is embedded as part of a complete device often including hardware and mechanical parts. Embedded systems control many devices in common use today. Embedded systems range from portable devices such as digital watches and MP3 players, to large stationary installations like traffic lights, factory controllers, and largely complex systems like hybrid vehicles, MRI, and avionics. Complexity varies from low, with a single microcontroller chip, to very high with multiple units, peripherals and networks.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on embedded systems. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Processors in embedded systems
    • Portable devices
    • Embedded systems in transportation
    • Real-time embedded system
    • Wireless embedded systems
    • Hardware & embedded systems
    • Embedded virtual machines
    • Embedded software architectures
    • Embedded debugging
    • Algorithm implementation

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Embedded Systems” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:
