Special Issue on Cancer Stem Cells
Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) are rare immortal cells within a tumor that can both self-renew by dividing and give rise to many cell types that constitute the tumor, and can therefore form tumors. Such cells have been found in various types of human tumors and might be attractive targets for cancer treatment.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring cancer stem cells. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Tumor microenvironment
-
Cancer genomics & metabolomics
-
Carcinogenesis and mutagenesis
-
CSCs and metastasis
-
Therapies targeting CSCs
-
Immune systems in stem cells and cancer
-
Biomarkers
-
CSCs in solid tumors
-
CSCs epigenetics
-
Radiation oncology
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Cancer Stem Cells” should be selected during your submission.
