Special Issue on Cell Metabolism

Cell Metabolism refers to the metabolic activity of substances and energy that are carried out inside the cell, such as respiration, macromolecule synthesis and degradation. Cell metabolism plays an important role in human health and physiological balance.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Cell Metabolism. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Exercise metabolism
• Mitochondria and other metabolic organelles
• Diabetes, obesity, pancreatic beta cell function
• Lipid metabolism
• Aging and stress response
• Energy balance
• Hormone receptors
• Metabolism and metabolic derangements
• Basic and translational metabolic research

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Cell Metabolism” should be chosen during your submission.
