Special Issue on
Environment, Climate, Plant and Vegetation
Vegetation covers a considerable portion of the earth and has an effect on weather and climate. Vegetation influences both albedo of the earth and the amount of water vapor and carbon dioxide in the air. Vegetation includes all plants from evergreen forests to grassy meadows and cropland. All types of plants play a role in both the water cycle and the earth’s energy balance. They affect weather and climate mostly through evapotranspiration and albedo. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of environment, climate, plant and vegetation.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore environment, climate, plant and vegetation. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Vegetation effects on weather and climate
-
Vegetation effects on land use
-
Effects of climate change on plant biodiversity
-
Climate change responsible for global vegetation change
-
Effect of environment on plant growth
-
Plant–plant interactions and environmental change
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Environment, Climate, Plant and Vegetation” should be selected during your submission.
