Special Issue on Extraction and Analysis of Volatile Compounds
Volatile compounds
are a wide group of chemicals, which can be emitted to the atmosphere from
different sources. Toxicity of some of them has been reported in recent years,
with some volatiles classified as harmful compounds to human health. These
compounds have a potential role in the formation of photooxidants and they can
be considered as the reason for olfactory pollution.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Extraction
and Analysis of Volatile Compounds. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Volatile
organic compounds (VOCs)
-
Identification
and characterization of volatile compounds
-
Volatile
compounds in pesticides
-
Volatile
compounds in wine
-
Plastics
and polymers volatile compounds
-
Indoor
air quality certification
-
Solid-phase
microextraction
-
Mass
spectrometry techniques
-
Evaporative
emission testing
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Extraction and Analysis of Volatile
Compounds” should be selected during your submission.
