Special Issue on Natural Hazards and Global Change

Natural hazard is refers to a threat of naturally occurring event will have a negative effect on humans. The impact of global environmental changes and changes in economic developments and their locations suggests that population and economic changes, increasing the exposure to risks, is a major factor in increasing disaster losses and human suffering over time. The goal of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for scientists worldwide to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of natural hazards and global change.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring natural hazards and global change. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Climate change on natural disasters
• Types of natural disasters
• Forecasting of catastrophic events
• Risk assessment and management
• Disaster response and preventive action
• Hazard evaluation, mapping and mitigation
• Global change and environmental protection

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
