Special Issue Personality Psychology Research

 

Personality psychology is a branch of psychology that studies personality and its variation among individuals. "Personality" is a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by a person that uniquely influences their environment, cognitions, emotions, motivations, and behavioral science in various situations. The study of personality is based on the essential insight that all people are similar in some ways, yet different in others. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of personality psychology research.

 

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore personality psychology research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Evolutionary personality psychology
  • Personality assessment, measurement
  • Genetics and personality
  • Physiological approaches to personality
  • Motives and personality
  • Cognitive topics in personality
  • Personality and social interaction
  • Sex, gender, and personality

 

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
