Special Issue on

Telecommunications Network

A telecommunications network is a collection of terminal nodes and transmission links that connect the nodes together. The nodes use circuit switching, message switching or packet switching to pass the signal through the correct links and nodes to reach the correct destination terminal. It once referred only to the collection of switches and wiring used by telephone service providers to provide audio connectivity to residential and business customers, now it can also include Internet, microwave, and wireless equipment, etc. Telecommunications can greatly increase and expand resources to people. The relevant research is of significant importance to the social development.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Telecommunications Network. The topics to be covered by this special issue include, but are not limited to:

• Global telex network
• Aeronautical ACARS network
• Data network
• Network structures
• Optical transport network
• Telecommunications security
• Telecommunications infrastructure
• Telecommunications engineering

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
