Special Issue on Sedimentology & Stratigraphy
Sedimentology is a branch of geology concerned with sedimentary rocks and deposits (such as sand, silt, and clay) and the processes that result in their formation (erosion and weathering), transport, deposition and diagenesis. It is closely linked to stratigraphy, which studies the relationships between rock layers and how they can shift and move.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Sedimentology & Stratigraphy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Sedimentology & Stratigraphy” should be selected during your submission.
