Special Issue on Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a condition that weakens bones, making them fragile and easy to break. Anyone can develop osteoporosis, but it is common in older women. About half of all women over the age of 50 will have a fracture of the hip, forearm, or vertebra during their lifetime. Risk factors for osteoporosis include family genetics, aging, low body weight, low sex hormones or menopause, smoking, and some medications.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Osteoporosis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Osteoporosis” should be selected during your submission.
