    Special Issue on Myocardial Infarction

The Myocardial Infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, is a serious medical condition that occurs when the flow of oxygen-rich blood to a section of heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked and the heart can't get oxygen. If blood flow isn't restored quickly, the section of heart muscle will begin to die. Signs of MI include shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue and cold sweat, etc.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Myocardial Infarction. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • ST elevation MI (STEMI)
    • Non-ST elevation MI (NSTEMI)
    • Complications of MI
    • Pathology of MI
    • Thrombolysis in MI
    • Signs & symptoms
