Special Issue on Protein Separation and Purification
Protein purification is a series of
processes to isolate proteins from a complex mixture, which is vital for the
characterization of the function, structure and interactions of the protein.
The methods used in protein purification can roughly be divided into analytical
and preparative methods according to the amount of protein purified. As Protein Separation and Purification plays an important role in bioscience and medicine, further study is of great importance
to researchers.
In
this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to
submit original researches and review articles on exploring separation and purification. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Characteristics of protein
-
Purification Strategies
-
Concentration of the purified protein
-
Involving techniques
-
Application
-
Limitation and common problems
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an
electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue –Protein Separation and Purification”
should be chosen during your submission.
