Reactive Oxygen Species in Health and Disease

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) exert a multitude of biological effects covering a wide spectrum, ranging from physiological regulatory functions to damaging alterations participating in the pathogenesis of increasing number of diseases during the past decades. As one of the most important research fields of health and disease, reactive oxygen species are of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring reactive oxygen species in health and disease. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Reactive oxygen species in cancer
• Reactive oxygen species in insulin resistance
• Reactive oxygen species in diabetes mellitus
• Reactive oxygen species in cardiovascular diseases
• Reactive oxygen species in atherosclerosis
• Reactive oxygen species in aging
• Reactive oxygen species in obesity
• Reactive oxygen species in chronic inflammation

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Reactive Oxygen Species in Health and Disease” should be chosen during your submission.
