Special Issue on Advances in Wind

The air moving on the surface of the earth is called Wind. Wind is an affordable, efficient and abundant natural resource. It is pollution-free and cost-competitive with energy from new coal- and gas-fired power plants in many regions. Besides, it can shape the landform and balance the temperature on the earth. As one of the most important resources close to human life and environment, wind is of great attraction to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring wind. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• The formation of wind 
• Classification of wind
• Characters of wind
• Measurements of wind
• Wind usage
• The influence of wind on natural world
• Advantage and disadvantage of wind

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue ” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue –Advances in Wind” should be chosen during your submission.
