Special Issue on Flame Retardants
Flame Retardants are
additional agents mixed in manufactured materials like textiles and plastics,
or surface coatings which delay, prevent or suppress the production of flames
or the spread of fire. They may stay the original status or react with the base
material to form a new material after addition. The categories of flame
retardants include flame retardant minerals, organohalogen compounds,
organophosphorus compounds and so on.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring flame retardants. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Flame retardant polymeric materials
-
Brominated flame retardant
-
Flame retardant composites
-
Flame retardant properties of materials
-
Flame retardant mechanism
-
Preparation and characterization of flame retardant materials
-
New prospects in flame retardant materials
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the
research field “Special Issue - Flame Retardants”
should be chosen during your submission.
