Special Issue on Research on Gram Bacteria

Gram bacteria are a group of bacteria that do not retain the crystal violet stain used in the Gram staining method of bacterial differentiation, making positive identification possible. Gram-negative bacteria can cause many types of infections and are spread to humans in a variety of ways. Several species, including Escherichia coli, are common causes of food–borne disease. As one of most important branches in microbiology, gram bacteria is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore research on gram bacteria. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Characteristics of gram bacteria
  • The monitoring of gram bacteria
  • The drug resistance of gram bacteria
  • The application of gram staining
  • Prevention of gram bacterial infections
  • Treating gram bacterial infections

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Research on Gram Bacteria” should be selected during your submission.
