Special Issue on Research on Agronomy


Agronomy is the application of science and technology from the fields of biology, chemistry, economics, ecology, soil science, water science, pest management and genetics to the improvement and management of the major food crops of the world. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of agronomy .


In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore agronomy. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:



  • Crop breeding and genetics
  • Chemistry, biology, and genetics applied to agronomy
  • Biotechnology for farming and the use of plants, plant breeding
  • Farming and cropping systems

  • Environmental stress on crops physiology and biochemistry
  • Smart management of organic and conservation agriculture
