ABSTRACT:
The article shows that neither radioactive decay of
long-lived radioactive isotopes nor the Earth’s “primordial” heat supply can explain
a huge energy formed in the Earth’s core. A
hypothesis is introduced that the main source of Earth’s energy is the
thermonuclear reactions in the solid inner Earth’s core which consist of hydrides
of irons and other metals.
