ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify the relationship between political reform
and political stability in Jordan through a quick review of the concepts and
indicators of political reform and political stability. The study yielded a
number of findings, the most important of which was that Jordan’s stability is relative;
the process of political reform in the country has made some achievements but
that it has not been enough to achieve the desired political stability. The
study emphasized that genuine political reform will impact Jordan’s
stability positively, and when this logic prevails, the situation will change
for the better, human rights and freedoms are safeguarded, harmony and justice
predominates community, security and stability of the ruler and the ruled
alike.
