Abstract: It is necessary to find the optimal threshold of the communication frequency for resolving conflicts effectively and improving organizational performance. First bring forward the concept of marginal communication resolution degree and cumulative communication resolution degree based on marginal utility theory and entropy theory. Find the law of marginal communication resolution degree diminishing with the increase of communication frequency by behavioral experiment method and independent sample test. Reveal the cumulative communication resolution degree to show an inverted U-shaped curve with the increase of communication frequency. At last, prove that the cumulative communication resolution degree reached its maximum when marginal communication resolution degree is zero and communication frequency reached its optimal threshold value at that time.
