Abstract: City park has the functions of sightseeing and leisure. With the progress of modern society, development of city and people’s concern of leisure activities, more and more city parks have gradually been opened to the public for free. Taking the Yanfeng Park as the empirical scenic spot, the article studied the citizens’ leisure behavior in free-open park of middle and small cities of China by observing, deep interview and questionnaire. Some measures are also put forward according to the characteristics of citizens’ leisure behavior in free-open park of middle and small cities in China.
