Regional Education Informatization (REI) refers to the process in which modern information technology, software resources and hardware resources of a region are utilized sufficiently, under a unified national plan and based on its actual situation, to optimize the educational structure of this region and also promote the modernization of education in this region. As to the education informatization in Hebei, there exist both advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges. Therefore, to develop a scientific and systematic strategy for the education informatization in Hebei, an accurate orientation of informatization is necessary.
