Abstract: Aiming at characteristics of building material enterprises’ demands for high-skilled personnel, the curriculum system of materials engineering technology should be reconstructed. The personnel training mode of higher vocational education should be studied. A scientifical curriculum system meeting the need of social development, showing the special features of higher vocational education was developed. In this paper, the curriculum system of Materials Engineering Technology in Shijiazhuang Institute of Railway Technology was investigated. The "three systems" curriculum ( ie, "basic course system", "professional skills curriculum system" and "Training System" ) based on the CEC-CDIO "practice in learning" educational philosophy was achieved.
