Abstract: |
The foreign researches about the effect of export diversification on economic growth try to answer three questions: the first one is export diversification promote or hinder the economic growth; the second one is by what means does export diversification affect economic growth, and the last one is what is the difference among different types of export diversification affecting economic growth. Based on these three facts, this paper reviews recent foreign empirical studies about the effect of export diversification on economic growth from three aspects: overall evidence, two different ways and two classifications, and then proposes the future research direction.
