Abstract: Finite-element analysis was used by ANSYS in this paper, and finite element models are established. These models include circular hole and hexagonal hole castellated columns with expansion ratio being 1.4, solid-web steel members without expansion. And then, buckling analysis for the models under axial compression is carried out. So the bearing capacity for compressive members are obtained and analyzed.
