Abstract: In this paper, we draw the concept of spatial economic analysis, quantitatively analyze the trade series among ASEAN, China, Japan, South Korea and United States from January 2001 to December 2010, totally 120 months. We find that there are significant correlation effects between the trade flows among China, Japan, South Korea, United States and ASEAN as well as the imports and exports of the four countries to ASEAN: Overall coordinated promotion and partial competition networking coexist. The time and space dynamic expanded correlation effects shown in East Asian regional trade liberalization indicate that free trade is not free; positively interacting in the multilateral region cooperation is an inevitable policy choice.
