Abstract: Process design is very important for logistics information system. This paper introduces the model of workflow which includes procedural model, organization model and information model. On the basis of analyzing the workflow system in logistics information system, the architecture of workflow management system is brought forward. Then an actual example is included to illustrate the method which integrates the logistics information system with workflow system. The logistics information system based workflow technology supports business process redesign. Users can design business process according to the size of organization and actual conditions.
