Abstract:

Online group buying as an emerging online shopping mode has become one of the most popular ways of shopping. As online group buying starts to blend into people's lives, problems caused by asymmetric information are also on the rise, which has a negative impact on the development of group purchase industry. This paper analyzes the characteristics of asymmetric information problem in group buying on the Web, describes the main problems caused by asymmetric information and then put forward some corresponding countermeasures.
