Abstract: |
Existing research on mobile user behavior has mainly focused on the initial adoption and usage, and paid little attention to the post-adoption and continuance usage. However, unless users continue using mobile services, mobile service providers cannot achieve success. Drawing on the expectation confirmation theory (ECT), this research proposes a mobile user post-adoption model. The post-adoption behavior includes three variables: continuance usage, recommendation and complaint. We conducted data analysis with partial least squares (PLS). The results indicated that expectation confirmation and perceived usefulness significantly affect users’ satisfaction, further determining their post-adoption behavior. In addition, perceived usefulness has a direct effect on the continuance usage.
