Abstract:
Fire disaster is the one of hidden dangers of city safety. Assessment of city fire fighting capability plays a very important role in city safety. This paper aimed at providing the assessment of city fire fighting by using GIS (geographic information system) software, taking the sources of secondary disaster of earthquake of Daqing city as an example and considering the basic principles of setting up the fire site. The results show that more fire stations should be set up in several place of Daqing city, which has certain practical significance to city safe.
