Abstract: |
This paper is aimed at analyzing the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) efficiency of China Construction Bank through the case of China Construction Bank acquiring Bank of America (Asia) Co., Ltd. The paper uses financial ratios method and draw support from return on equity model to do empirical analysis of the M&A efficiency. The result shows that the evaluating indicator has some elevation after the acquisition, at the same time it brings China Construction Bank some indirect benefits such as international operations and market development.
