Abstract: The urban commercial bank is an important part of China's financial system. Our paper shows that China's urban commercial Banks operating performance, and the size of the board have been positive correlation. The scale of the board of supervisors and the board is negatively correlated with the bank bad loans, both of them are positive correlation with bank’s safety. Independent director's scale and bank’s performances are negatively related, that is to say that the independent director system is still not play a role, especially have to improve corporate governance right now in China.
