Old-Age Home is a new pension mode combining the family pension and social pension, which is welcomed by most old people in Tianjin. In recent years, governments at all levels in Tianjin published a series of policy to promote old-age home, and great achievements have been made in the work. Even so, the shortage of capital and nurse staff hinders the rapid development of this mode. Reviewing the development of old-age home in specific practice, the paper analyses the main problem we are facing, and puts forward several counter measures and suggestions.
