Abstract: Considering driver behavior tropism, an improved multi-lane-changing model based on cellular automata is proposed. Relationship between driving behavior tropism and traffic flow traveling during the implementation of vehicle lane-changing under the conditions of different lanes, flow and ratio of changing lane is studied. The simulation results show that driving behavior tropism in different traffic flow shows different lane-changing influence behavior. And traffic flow traveling in lane-changing is influenced by the factors such as flow, lane number.
