Abstract: This is a research on eco-tourists identification. A survey concerning eco-tourist behavioral characteristics was carried out at Qinghai Lake Birds Islands Nature Reserve. This paper used behavior recognition method and self-identification method to distinguish the behavioral for ecotourists and general tourists. The survey result identified the Chinese ecotourists has big difference with general tourists in demographic information and the NEP scale scores.
