Abstract: |
Urbanization should be integration of increasing quantity and elevated quality. This paper, utilizing related statistics from 1979 to 2009, establishes the VAR model between the urbanization quality and car demand after constructing the index system of urbanization quality. It’s found that the population, society, life and economy elements in the index system all are the Granger reason to car demand, and their effects are remarkable and sustainable. In the end, in order to suppress excessive consumption of cars, alleviate heavy traffic and improve the quality of urbanization, it comes up with measures, according to the demonstration’s outcome.
