construction industry plays an important role in the society’s sustainable development, and sustainable construction project is the approach to reach the sustainable development of construction industry. There are many researches on sustainable construction, but many focused on construction process and industry development or evaluation of building, neglecting from project perspective to understand sustainable construction. Meanwhile, the successful criteria of sustainable construction project was also absent. Though literature analysis, the paper introduces sustainable construction from project perspective, which includes social, economy and environment three main aspects, and then based on this, proposes successful criteria of sustainable large scale infrastructure project, including eighteen indicators and project, economy, social and environment four aspects.
