Abstract: This article firstly analyzes the environment of global construction market, focusing on the districts and nations where there will be rapid growth in the following 5~10 years and the chances and challenges in different fields of construction market. Secondly, the international development experiences of the multinational construction enterprises are studied. Thirdly, the suggestions of taking the internationalization strategy for Chinese construction enterprises are pointed out: including the markets and fields they can enter into, the way of entering into these markets, and the preparation they should make for the global business. The paper concluded that the CLCEs should expand their business into the areas such as Asian pacific area, Mid-east, east Europe, Africaand so on, develop new technologies and integrated service ability, cultivate expertise in concessions, improve reputation and seek cooperative partners to expand overseas markets.
