Value engineering is an effective method to save resources and reduce the cost through the function analysis of the product. This article begins with the basic theory of value engineering, after analyzing the project construction phase is the key to cost control. We applies value engineering to the project management of construction period, discusses the construction period in the application of project management value engineering, can be very good for cost control, improve the economic benefits of investment projects.
