Title: An Analysis on Competitiveness for Shrimp Products in China Based on Sustainable Development Perspective

Abstract: Based on sustainable development perspective, Chinese shrimp revealed comparative advantage coefficient (RCA) is used in the paper. By analysing on features of shrimp exports respectively and an empirical research of circulation of the relevant coefficients of production, it finds the main characteristic of Chinese shrimp export. Empirical results show that Chinese comparative advantage in production level is more obvious. Comparative advantage in trade level exists, but it is lower than other major shrimp exporting countries. Compared with other countries, Chinahas not a clear comparative advantage. In the current situation of the new international trade, the comparative advantage in Chinese shrimp is still relatively weak by production costs, appreciation of the yuan, trade barriers and other unfavorable factors.
