Abstract: Informatization is the inevitable choice to speed up the industrialization and modernization of China. As a necessary infrastructure for water transport, port is particularly important in foreign trade. The scheduling department as one of the core sectors of port management, vessel scheduling dispatch work as basic premise and main contents of all the scheduling work, plays an important role in the normal operation of the port handling and the safety of the ship. In this paper, we apply the theory of information system into project reality. First, we investigate the informatization demand of Guangzhou Port Group and its branches. Then we get an optimized process referring to the theory of process optimization. At last, we build a unified logic model of scheduling management system based on production process. It may have some guidance to the scheduling management informatization of similar port.
