At present, under the influence of price rising of raw materials, the cost increase of labor use and the appreciation of the RMB and so on, the profit Margins for enterprises of OEM is further narrowing, and enterprises of OEM must timely transform, upgrade, and become enterprises of OBM with independent intellectual property rights. This paper holds that enterprises of OEM should seek personalized upgrading path according to their own development characteristics, and gradually develop from enterprises of OEM to enterprises of OBM, which are based on the path of brand creation of market expansion ability, or based on the path of brand creation of technical innovation ability.
