Abstract: Thermal power companies are the largest emitters of pollution. How to control the environmental costs has become an important issue for managers. However, effective control for environment costs must be based on reasonable recognition and measurement of environmental costs. We combine with characteristics of the production process in thermal power enterprises, discusses recognition qualification, recognition time, recognition ange and measurement methods of environmental costs for thermal power companies.
