Abstract: |
According to the characteristics of passenger traffic, we mainly researched the forecasting methods of railway passenger transport demand, on the basis of analyzing the main factors affecting railway passenger flow. Through the comparison and analysis to five passenger volume forecasting methods commonly used in comprehensive transport planning, we concluded the advantage, disadvantage and using scope of the five models forecasting passenger demand. Finally, we draw some conclusions and recommendations.
