Abstract: In the International mud logging operation, the data must be in real time and original, prohibited to process; Utilizing standard models to describe cuttings and oil shows. After the well finished, the final well report should be hand in within a short period, but the oil company never classify it. The data quality control procedure in the international mud logging operation can be separated into three stages: pre-operation quality control, during operation quality control, final report quality control. In order to improve the data quality, need to train the employee, follow the standard operation procedure during operation, store adequate spare parts and consumable materials according to the lowest reserve standard, and apply new mud logging technology. The successful operation experience of more than 10 years in international mud logging market approved these management methods are practical and efficient.
