Title: On the Analysis of the Interim Report Based on Can-Do Self-Evaluation Questionnaire for Candidates of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test in 2010

Abstract: A candidate-oriented questionnaire which was based on Can-do, was made by the organizers of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test in 2010. It offered self-evaluating questions according to which interim report was written. In this paper, a questionnaire was made among Japanese majors of ShandongJiaotong Universitywho have already passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test-Grade the Can-do- based questionnaire and the report was written according to the questionnaire. A comparison of the two reports indicates that Japanese majors ofShandongJiaotongUniversitylag quite behind the respondents of interim report in the average value of listening and reading, which poses a new challenge to the Japanese language education.
